Well done, girls
Congratulations are in order to coach Pat Rowe
and her South Huron District High School junior girls
basketball team.
After an undefeated regular schedule with 10
straight victories, the Panthers won the Huron-Perth
championship the hard way.
They lost the first game of a two game total point
series to Stratford Monday and then came roaring
back Wednesday on their home court to win the series
by eight points.
Then it was on to Tillsonburg and the WOSSA
playoffs and again the locals turned in excellent per-
formances. They were eliminated in the semi-finals by
Tillsonburg by only three points.
It was the best effort turned in by a South Huron
basketball team in about 15 years.
