'El' Dear Sir, I'm surprised that the ligicet, cffieexwaS not deluged with calls for reservations by the tenants of Huron Park for flights to Las. Vegas last week during the terrible disaster. What are we? I'm referring to the response to the wail of the siren witnessed by me on Saturday evening. Those of you who read, the Times will recall that I once suggested renaming Algonquin. Drive (Algonquin Freeway). At 7:00 p.m. on Saturday the siren sounded. At 7:05 the curious had the streets jammed with cars, trucks, bicycles and pedestrians. Why? Probably they hoped to get a glimpse of someone at an upstairs window trying in vain to escape the horrible flames and smoke caused by fire, Or maybe they, are testing the driving of our excellent volunteer fire department. We will never control the curious but I certainly wish that they would take into consideration the fact that roads are only so wide in our communities and stay the heck away from them when, the fire trucks have to use them. Fighting your way to the fire can sometimes be this paper and. the entry more difficult than actually forms arebein run off. Dot fighting the fire.
