Judi Henry led the Junior Church in the game of Samson Says. She told them as you fallow the leader in a game, you follow ,Your parents as they lead you in the right way to grow up. Rev. Ray Brewster spoke from Acts 2;1-8 and 14-21 saying God is getting His church ready for the ministry of the Rely Spirit, The names Scripture gives the Holy Spirit show who He is. He is 'the Spirit of God who dwells in Christians, the power force of God, the ex- ecutive of God, part of the Godhead, which means He is an eternal Spirit, omnipre- sent Spirit, who we cannot run from. Sunday evening Rev. Ray Biewster read Matthew 24:1-21 about the events that will take place, when the great tribulation egins, and signs that show Jesus will soon return. God has great reasons for world happenings. The Bible tells us we will have tribulations, and persecutions. The only way we can be strong Christians is through the word of God, When we take the word of God into our lives,. it wilt be a powerful weapon for us to live by. After the Christians are taken up to, be with Jesus When He comes for them, the great tribulation will come upon the earth as the wrath of God will, be poured on the earth because of people's rejection of Jesus Christ. For this reason Christians need to tell people who God is, and what He can do for them. • Upcoming, events November 28, there will be a 100 Huntley St. Rally at 7;30 p.m. at the Progress Building, Western Fair Grounds, London. CORRECTION This is getting to be a habit! In last week's story of the "Thank You" party for the Bingo Workers and others, your correspondent gave credit to Allen "Scott" for singing the solo part in one of the musical numbers. Allen claims he was not in attendance and he really wasn't! However, I had the first name right, only spell- ed differently. Alan "Hill" did the honours and my most sincere apologies. They are brothers-in-law. but it was still inexcusable.
