Leading the Hawks in the assist department were Parsons, Couse, Atthill, Rick Lindenfield and Ed Willis The Exeter Mohawks dropped two decisions this week in the South Huron intermediate hockey league, but, in each instance had battled back from two goal' deficits to tie the score before their opponents scored the game winning goals. Thursday night in Exeter, the Mohawks were edged 5-4 by the Centralia Marauders and Sunday night they were on the short end of a 3-2 count to the North Middlesex Merchants of Parkhill. In Parkhill Sunday night, Gary McLeod scored the winning goal for the MeiY chants with only one minute and 43 seconds remaining in the third period. Goals by a pair of assists as did Dave Coco% while helping Out on one each were Varley; Doug Brooks,, Ron Bilcke, Randy Parsons .and. Brad Taylor, Steve Wells recorded 33 saves in picking up the win hi the nets, while Paul. Seebock also turned aside 33 for the Braves in a game that saw the visitors pick up 10 penalties and nine by the Hawks.
