e, melted butter
1 c, sifted flour
3/4 c. oats
c, light brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp, salt
4 c, rhubarb cut in small pieces
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp, cornstarch
1 c, boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
Melt butter and let cool, work in flour, oats, brown
sugars salt, cinnamon until crumbly. Press 1/4 of
the mixture into 9x9 baking dish, cover with the
rhubarb. In small saucepan mix together sugar,. cor-
nstarch, then stir in boiling water and cook until thick
add vanilla, pour this over rhubarb. Now sprinkle and
lightly pat remaining crumble over top. Bake at 325
degrees for 50 minutes

Banana float Dessert
1 3% oz. pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling
1/2 c, heavy cream, whipped
c. min. marshmallows
Vanilla wafers
2 bananas, sliced
Prepare pudding, chill, fold in whipped cream and
marshmallows. Line bottom of 10 x 6' ' baking dish with
wafers, pour in half of pudding mixture. Cover with
banana slices. Top with rest of pudding. Chill.

1.A2 c. brown sugar
Roll wafers fine and mix with butter and brown sugar.
Pat half into bottom of buttered 8 inch square pan.
Make 1 pkg, small lemon or pineapple jello powder us-
ing 1 cup boiling water and 1 cup juice trom 20 oz. tin
crushed pineapple. Let stand until partially set, Whip 1
'pkg. of dream or 1/2 pint of cream. Fold jelly, cream,
tlx c, cut maraschino cherries, pineapple together and
pour over crumbs. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over
the top. Serves 10,

Stand By Cornstarch Pudding
3/2 c. white sugar
1/3 tsp. salt
23/4 c. milk
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
In a heavy pot, mix sugar, salt cornstarch and flour.
Stir in milk and egg thoroughly. Cook, stirring over
high heat for 2 minutes. Reduce to simmer, until thick.
Add butter and vanilla. To make a colourfuldessertadd
fruit to the bottom of fruit nappy then pour pudding
over top.
