JOSEPH Cookies. Butter Thins Cookies 2-3 c. flour (all purpose) 1/2 tsp, soda tsp. salt 1/4 c. sour cream or buttermilk Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat well! Stir in dry ingredients, mix well and chill 2-3 hours. Roll out 1/8" thick and cut. Bake 350 deg. Time - 6-8 minutes. Mrs, Wm. When mix- ed add beaten egg, sweet milk, baking soda and salt, enough flour to make a stiff batter, add floured raisins, nutmeg or mixed spice, make a stiff dough and roll and cut, bake in a quick oven 375 to 400 degrees.
