1 lb. brown sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. molasses (any molasses will do)
1 c. corn syrup
Soften butter and syrup until sugar has dissolved com-
pletely, Add molasses and, syrup and boil for about 15
to 20 minutes until toffee crackles in iced water (drop
in a small amount from spoon) Pour into a well greas-
ed pan and leave to set in a cool place for one hour (not
frig.) Store in an airtight container in frig.

Chocolate Macaroons
I nicknamed this recipe Fudgo's. They taste just like
crunchy fudge.
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. margarine
2 c, white sugar
6 tbsp, cocoa
3 c. oatmeal
1 c. shredded coconut
Bring the first four ingredients to a boil, Boil for 3
minutes, stirring constantly. Add oatmeal and
coconut. Pour into buttered dish. Cool. Cut into
squares.

Crust
Mix together 11/2 c. graham crackers (16)
1/2„ c. melted butter
c, sugar
Spread in 9" square pan.
Filling
Beat until thick and lemon coloured 2 eggs, Gradually
add, continuing to beat, 1/2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla.
Blend in and beat (1) 8 oz. pkg. Philadelphia Cream
Cheese (Cream Cheese should be at room
temperature). Pour over crust and bake 30 min. 300
deg. Remove from oven; sprinkle with cinnamon and
let stand to cool.
Topping
Drain juice from (1) # 303 can blueberries. Mix with
the jiikice 2 tbsp, cornstarch, 1/2 c. sugar and juice from
1 lemon. Cook until thick and clear, stirring constant-
ly,. Blend in berries, Pour topping, over cooled cream
cheese filling, cool and refrigerate overnight. Serve
with a dash of whipped cream.

Pineapple Squares
-Base:
11/2 c. fine graham wafer crumbs
1 tbsp. flour
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. melted butter
Pack above in pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 325 deg.
Add:
1 can Eaglebrand milk
2'/2 c. coconut,
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. chopped pineapple
colored candy rings cut up fine
(4 rings make 1/2 cup). Put on above base and bake
from 15 to 29 minutes at 325 deg.
When cold put on icing:
1/3 c. butter
c. icing sugar
1 tsp. warm cream or milk,
vanilla
Red colouring 'or juice from cherries.

Super Fudge
1 c. sesame seeds
1 c. carob powder
1 c. sunflower seeds
1/4 c. unsweetened coconut
Put into food chopper and chop for 1 minute. Add into
food chopper 1 cup liquid honey or 11/4 cup granulated
honey. Mix with blade until motor almost stops. Turn
into pan and with your hand, knead 1 cup crunchy or
smooth peanut butter. Pat flat into pan and
refrigerate.
