Cokes.
Orange and Lemon Slices Cake
1 lb.of orange-lemon candy slides
1-8 oz. candied pineapple
1-8 oz. pkg. of dates (chopped)
1 pkg, nuts (chopped)
1 cup maraschino cherries
3% cups sifted flour
1 cup margarine 1/2 cup buttermilk
4 eggs - 2 cups white sugar
1 tsp. soda - 4 oz. of fine coconut
Cut candy in pieces. Coat all fruit with 1/2 cup flour.
Cream margarine, sugar, add eggs one at a time, then
buttermilk. Sift 3 cups flour with soda, and add butter-
milk, then candy and fruit mixture and coconut.
Grease and flour loaf pans. Bake 3 hours. at 250 deg.
and test or 31/2 hours. Leave in pans till cool. Pour over
cakes, 2 cups icing sugar and p1 cup of orange juice
mixed. Leave to cool in pans,
Rhubarb Cake
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 e
1 cg sour milk
1/2 c. margarine
1 tsp. baking soda
Mix above, add 11/2 c. of rhubarb cut in small pieces.
Topping:
c. brown sugar mixed with cinnamon and bake at
350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Salad Dressing Cake
3 c. flour
6 tbsp. cocoa
11/2 c, sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. soda
Mix well and add:
11/2 c. water
11/2 c. salad dressing
1 tsp. vanilla
Bake in 9 x 13 x 2" pan. Moderate oven until done.

Chocolate Chip Applesauce Cake
Mix 11/2 c, white sugar with 1/2 c. oil and add
2 ,eggs
2 c, applesauce
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
11/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. cocoa
Grease and flour pan,
Topping
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. 'chocolate mini-chipits
Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 deg. for 40 minutes.
