Refrigerator Bran Muffins
Cream together in large bowl,
4 eggs
2 c. white sugar
1 c. oil
Stir in
'/2 c. molasses
21/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
Stir together and add to above mixture
3 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 dessert spoonfulls baking powder
Stir in 23/4 c. of all bran cereal. Dissolve 2 dessert
spoonfulls of baking soda in 1/3 c. boiling water and
add to above mixture. Add 2 cups of raisins or raisins
and dates mixed., Cherries may also be added or nuts,
1/4 cup of wheat germ is also a nice addition.Batter will
keep in refrigerator for a month so bake as needed at
400 degrees 20 to 25 minutes. Makes about 4 doz.

Cheese-Onion Biscuits
21/2 c. all-purpose flour •
1 tbsp. double acting baking powder f-0 ,011
/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine
11/2 c. grated cheddar
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 egg
1 c.milk
Preheat oven 425 degrees. Grease a large cookie sheet
or muffin pans. In large bowl mix first 3 ingredients.
With knives or pastry blender cut in butter or
margarine until mixture resembles course crumbs,
Stir in cheese and onion. Beat egg slightly add to milk,
beat until blended. Add all at one time to dry in-
gredients.Stir until flour is well moistened. Bake 25
minutes. Makes 1'/2 dozen.

No Knead Buns
1 pkg. yeast, •
1 tsp. white sugar
1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 cup hot water,
1/3 cup shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. white sugar
1 beaten egg
4 cups all purpose flour
Soak yeast in warm water and sugar 10 minutes.
Mix hot water, shortening, salt and sugar and when
lukewarm add yeast mixture. Add egg and 1 cup flour
and beat well. Add 21/2 cups flour and blend well. Cover
and refrigerate 3 or 4 hrs. or overnight. About 2 hrs.
before meal remove, and turn out on bake baard.
Sprinkle with last 1/2 cup flour. Doughissoft. Form into
long roll and cut into 24 pieces. Form into buns and
place into buttered muffin tins. Bake at 400 deg. about
12 to 15 minutes.
