seniors of the interesting

proval of a by-law to regulate land use passed pursucint to
Section 35 of The Planning Act.
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Cor-
poration of the Township of Bosanquet intends to apply to The
Ontario Municipal Board pursuant to the provisions of Section
35 of The Planning. Act for approval of By-law 48/80 passed
on the 2nd day of September, 1980. A copy of the by-law is
furnished herewith and a note giving an explanation of the
purpose and effect of the by-law and stating the lands
affected thereby is also'furnished herewith.
ANY PERSON INTERESTED MAY, within twenty-one (21) days
after the date of this notice, send by registered mail or deliver
to the clerk of the Township of Bosanquet notice of objection
to approval of the said by-law or part thereof giving details
of all or the portion of the by-law to which you object and
detailed reasons therefor, and shall indicate that if a hearing

of the by-law may within twenty-one (21) days after the date

"By-law 48 of 1980 is a by-law to amend By-law 26 of 1979,
the Comprehensive Restricted Area (Zoning) By-Law.
This by-law provides for certain requirements for area, set-
back and coverage."
TOWNSHIP OF BOSANQUET
RESTRICTED AREA (ZONING)
BY-LAW 48 OF 1980
Being a By-law to amend By-law 26 of 1979.
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bosanquet passed a comprehensive Restricted Area (Zoning)
By-law 26 of 1979 on the 10th day of June, 1979; and
Whereas the Council deems it desirable and in the public in-
terest to amend the said By-law; and
Whereas this By-law conforms to the Official Plan of the
Bosanquet Planning Area;
Now, therefore, the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Bosanquet enacts as follows:
1. That Section 6,2.4 b) is hereby repealed and replaced with
the following:
b) Height 10 metres maximum"
2. That Section 8.1.2 c)ii) and 8.1.2 c)iii) are hereby repealed
and replaced with the following:
"8.1.2 c)ii) Side Yard 4.5 metres minimum
8.1.2 c)iii) Rear Yard 9 metres minimum"
3. That Section 8.2.2 a) is hereby repealed and replaced with
the following:
"8.2.2 a) 1400 square' metres minimum."
4, That Section 8.3.2 is hereby repealed and replaced with the
following:
"8.3.2 a) 1800 square metres minimum."
5. That Section 8.5.2 a) is hereby repealed and replaced with
the following:
"8.5.2 a) Lot Area 1800 square metres minimum."
6. That this By-law shall come into effect on the date of the
passing subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board.

Explanatory Note of By-Law 20/80
"By-law 20 of 1980 is a by-law to amend By-law 26 of 1979,
the Comprehensive Restricted Area (Zoning) By-Law.
Generally, this by-law adds new provisions which would allow
for the building of a one-family dwelling and accessory uses
on certain lots which do not meet the frontage and area re-
quirements of By-law 26 of 1979 and which are located in
Registered Plans of Subdivision which existed prior to the date
of the passing of By-law 26 of 1979.

BY-LAW 20 OF 1980
Being a By-law to amend By-law 26 of 1979.
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bosanquet passed a comprehensive Restricted Area (Zoning)
By-law 26 of 1979 on the 18th day of June, 1979; and
Whereas the Council deems it desirable and in the public in-
terest to amend the said By-law; and
Whereas this By-law conforms to the Official Plan of the
Bosanquet Planning Area;
Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Bosanquet enacts as follows:
1. That Section 14 of By-law 26 of 1979 be amended by
repealing subsections 14.1, 14.2, 14.3, and 14,4 and
replacing them with the following:
"14.1 Notwithstanding the requiremen,ts of this By-law, in
any Residential Zone nothing shall prevent the use or
erection of a one-family dwelling and buildings and
structures accessory to such dwelling on any lot
within any registered plan of subdivision within the
corporate boundaries of the Township of Bosanquet,
even if such lots do not possess adequate frontage or
area requirements, provided that such lots were in
existence on the 18th day of June, 1979, and provid-
ed that all other provisions of By-law 26 of 1979 are
complied with."
2. That Section 14, subseCtions '14.5, 14.6 and 14.7 of By-law
26 of 1979 be renumbered 14.2, 14.3, and 14,4 respective-
ly.
3. That this By-law shall come into effect on the date of its
passing subject to the approval of the O.M.B.

"By-law 21 of 1980 is a by-law to amend By-law 26 of 1979,

This by-low rezones certain lands from Environmental Protec-
tion (EP) to Rural General (Al) and from Rural General (Al)
to Environmental Protection (EP) and from Environmental
Protection (EP) to Rural Restricted (A3)."

RESTRICTED AREA (ZONING)
BY-LAW 21 of 1980
Being a By-law to amend By-law 26 of 1979
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bosanquet passed a comprehensive Restricted Area (Zoning)
By-law on the 18th day of June, 1979; and
Whereas objections were received with regard to the extent of
the EP zones in the rural areas of the Township; and
Whereas Council deems it desirable and in the public interest
to amend the said By-law; and
Whereas this By-law conforms to the Official Plan of the
Bosanquet Planning Area as amended;
Now therefore, the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Bosanquet enacts as follows:
1. That Schedule "A" is hereby declared to form part of this
By-law.
2. That Schedule "A" to By-law 26 of 1979 is hereby amended
by changing the zone symbols that apply to those lands as
indicated on Schedule "A" to this By-law from EP to Al, Al
to EP, and from EP to A3 respectively.
3. That Section 16.5 of By-law 26 of 1979 be amended by ad-
ding the following subsections:
"c) Notwithstanding any other provision of By-law 26 of
1979, no building or structure shall be erected within 23
metres from the top of bank of any open drainage ditch
or natural watercourse in any zone.
d) Notwithstanding any other provision of By-law 26 of
1979, no building or structure shall be erected within 10
metres of the top of a slope with a bank of more than 30
degrees."
4. That this By-law shall come into effect on the date of its
passing subject to the approval of the Ontario Municipal
Board.

Explanatory Note of By-Law 16/80
"By-law 16 of 1980 is a by-law to amend By-law 26 of 1979,
the Comprehensive Restricted Area (Zoning) By-Law.
Generally, this by-law controls the location and nature of
areas to be used for the outdoor keeping or storage of
derelict motor vehicles in Bosanquet Township.

TOWNSHIP OF BOSANQUET
RESTRICTED AREA (ZONING)
BY-LAW 16/80 OF 1980
Being a By-law to amend By-law 26 of 1979.
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Bosanquet passed a comprehensive Restricted Area (Zoning)
By-law 26 of 1979 on the 18th day of June, 1979; and
Whereas the Council deems it desirable and in the public in-
terest to amend the said By-law; and
Whereas the Ministry of the Environment ended its respon-
sibility for certifying derelict motor vehicle sites as of
December 31, 1979.
Now therefore the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Bosanquet enacts as follows:
1. That Section 3 of By-law 26 of 1979 is hereby amended by
adding a definition for Derelict Motor Vehicles to be
number 3.74 (a) and this definition shall read:
"Derelict Motor Vehicle shall mean a motor vehicle that has
no market value as a means of transportation or as an in-
strument of husbandry, or is inoperable, and does not have
current license plates when required."
2. Section 15.2 of By-law 26 of 1979 is amended by adding
thereto the following:
"(e) the outdoor keeping or storage of more than one
derelict motor vehicle on any lot in any Rural Zone.
(f) the outdoor keeping or storage of any derelict motor
vehicle in any zone other than Rural."
3. That this By-law shall come into force and effect on the date
of its passing subject to the approval of the Ontario
Municipal Board,
