day out for their October
meeting,
Mrs. Rupert Williams,
convener of Education and
Cultural Activities arranged
a dinner meeting at "The
Garage" followed by a
guided tour of the new
London Art Gallery.
The women were not
impressed with the Con-
temporary Art on display.
Apparently, the displays are
changed every two weeks so
if you were planning a visit
to the gallery, hoping to see
some of your favourite ar-
tist's work, it would be wise
to phone and make inquiries
before going.
However, it was nice to see
the architectural design and
everyone felt: the day was
well worth while, Nineteen
members and three visitors
attended.
During the short business
meeting, delegates to the
London Area Convention to
be held in St. Marys, October
27,28 were chosen.
