Reason" which was much
enjoyed.
The pastor was in charge
of the rededication of the
newly decorated sanctuary.
The choir sang "The
Family of God" David
Duncan of Stratford, second
year student at Emmanuel
Theology College was the
guest speaker. His theme
was "What does the Church
need today" His Bible
reading was taken from John
20 verses 19-31.

The girls' soccer team
went to West Williams for a
soccer tournament on
W&Inesday, October 7, 1980.
They tied two games and lost
one. They tied Adelaide 0.0,
and then tied Parkhill 1-1.
Lori Allison scored the goal
for McGillivray: They lost
their only game to East
Williams 1-0. Tammy
Mathers played very well for
McGillivray in goal
throughout the day.
On Wednesday, October 8,
McGillivray Central School
Boy's Soccer team went to
the West William's
Recreational Centre to play
in the area 5 soccer tour-
nament.
The team was made up of
grade 7 and 8 boys and
coached by Mr. Robertson.
The boys got off to a bad
start losing 7-0 to East
Williams and losing 5-0 to
Parkhill, The future did look
brighter in the game against
Adelaide-W.G. 'MacDonald
as Brad Steeper tscored two
goals but the final score
showed McGillivray losing 3-
2.
During the last game of the
day, Chris MacGregor and
Brad Steeper each scored
two, and Ted Hodgins scored
a single goal, allowing the
team to and on a high note by
beating Ausable Springs
Ranch 5-0.
