29:11 that God has a plan for
the family). We need to give
thanks toprod for all that he
is, and /for our families.
Sometimbs in the Christian
walk weigo through growing
pains, bit we learn that God
looks ahead; sees the end,
and waits only the best for
us.
It i God's intention that
in
our f ily should give us
blessings in our lives.
Becaige of this God has a
planlfor our families.
Afer the morning service,
the congregation gathered in
thep'ellowship Hall, where a

Lev. Brewster spoke from
Gaiesis 26:25 about building
aealtar pitching a tent, then
rigging a well. God has given
astructure for life, but many
jeople confuse it. When we
ty to rearrange structure of
fife God gave us, we run into j,finany problems, because
God's instructions are to be
closely followed. First thing
is to build the altar, to
commune with God, as God
must come first.

Anglican
Lessons at Lucan's Holy
Trinity Anglican Church
Sunday morning were' read
by Betty An.kers" and Russ
Radcliffe and speaking from
these Lessons, Ruth 1:8-9a
and 11 Timothy 2:8-15, Rev.
Bruce Pocock told his
congregation that these
readings show the Christian
faith in terms of "coming
and going".
The purpose of our coming
to church each Sunday is to
be healed and to go back into
the world to witness, each in
our own way. Christ said to
the leper "Go, your faith has
made you whole".
We cannot remain in God's
house. We come to be
nourished and grow in faith
and then must go out into• the
world again, with Christ at
the centre of our world.
Beth and Russ Radcliffe
welcomed members and
friends to the service. This
weekend is our Parish
Renewal- or strategy
weekend. If it is to be a
success, you must be in-
volved. It is a very important
opportunity for the members
of the Parish to voice their
ideas, their hopes and their
concerns. Sign up now and be
present on Friday and
Saturday.
The annual turkey supper
is coming up Wednesday,
October 29.
