Notice is hereby given that I have compiled
with section 24 of the Municipal Elections
Act, 1977, and that I have posted up at the
Municipal Office - 1 61B Main Street, the
Lucan Post Office, and Darling's IGA store,
Lucan on the 14th day of October, 1980,
the list of all persons entitled to vote in the
municipality at the municipal election, and
that such lists remain there for inspection
and I hereby call up all electors to take im-
mediate proceedings to have any errors or
ommissions corrected according to law.
Complaints will be received at the
Municipal Office from October 15th to Oc-
tober 22nd, 1980. The place at which the
revision wilt commence is the Clerk's Office,

weeks with her parents and
with Paul's parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Ed, Melanson, while
her husband has been on
course, away from Lahr.

Mrs. Maurice McDonald.
Mrs. McKinley is the 90 year

week with damages totalling

The Lord's Supper was
celebrated in Lucan United
Church on Sunday morning
and Rev. Keith Brown
spoke froml Cor. 11:23-23 on
the theme "Proclaiming The
Lord's. Death." Mr. Brown
told his congregation that
celebrating the Lord's
Supper is a demonstration of
God's Love and we need to
celebrate it over and over
lest we forget what it means.
"It shows God's hatred of
sin which starts us on a
downward trend in our lives
and eventually destroys us,"
said Mr. Brown,

"Nifty Knotters" held their
meeting at the home of
Debbie Menders Monday
evening, with Jane Thomp-
son acting as rotating
secretary and Tracey Giesen
elected vice-president to
replace Laurie Burns.
Meetings were changed to
Wednesday nights as a more
convenient time, The
members likes and dislikes
in colours and textures were
discussed and the girls en-
joyed a "colourscope" game
to discover their colour for
the year,

leader Phyllis O'Neil when
the main outline of the
project was discussed and the
materials needed for the
plant hangers noted.
The officers elected. were,

secretary with Jane
Straatman acting for this
meeting and press, Lynda
Jane McIntyre.
The second meeting was
held at the home of the Ass't
leader, Anne Straatman with
the leaders discussing the
History of Macrame and
teaching the same knots as
the "Nifty Knotters,"
Members started on their
plant hangers which are to
be brought to the meeting
tonight; Wednesday again at
the Straatman home.
