Kinsmen Clubs donated $46.5
million in service work to
Canadians for the 12 month ,
period ending June 30, it was
announced at the
organization's annual con • -
vention.
John Green, of Drayton,
the association's national
president. made the an-
nouncement. The figure in-
cludes cash raised as well as
the value of the service work
contributed.
The Association of
Kinsmen Clubs. Canada's
largest all-Canadian young
men's service club, was
founded in 1920 by Harold A.
Rogers, 0.C.. O.B.E. Mr.
Rogers still maintains con-
tact with members of the
Association and resides in
Toronto, Ont.
This year's service work
total is the largest for the
Association, which
celebrates its 60th Anniver-
sary this year.
