DEWORMER
*IF CYANAMID
One shot of Tramisol injectable
dewormer is all that it takes to deworm
each animal in your herd. Broad-
spectrum Tramisol is Canada's most
popular beef cattle dewormer. It is
effective against all nine types of worms
that can prevent your cattle from gain-
ing valuable pounds.
The Tramisol injectable method is
fast. It's efficient. It's convenient.
Nothing is wasted. You know that each
animal gets a full dose. Each shot gets
right into the bloodstream for immediate
action. Tramisol injectable dewormer.
It's the big shot that pays in pounds-and
at today's prices that means bigger
profits. Ask your dealer about Tramisol.
He'll tell you it pays off because it works.

Jesus, who as a physician,
can see people's needs. The
physician seal has an eye, a
heart, and a hand on it. Jesus
saw peoples' needs with His
eyes, reached out with His
hand to heal them, and had a
heart to help them.

ministered saying signs in
the world point to the end of
tim, when God will shake the
world, as Christ's coming
back appears to be near. It is
a tragic thing when
Christians do not hear what
God is saying by the events

stuments a Harold sang

Rev. Ray Brewster
speaking said the signs of the
times are wars, rumours of
wars and earthquakes. Jesus
told us not to be afraid when
this happens, but to look up
for He is coming back soon.
This should cause us to
examine our lives and to
change them.
Prophecy, as in the Bible
prepares us for what is going
to happen. When we know
this we can understand and
explain world happenings,
with faith that God has all
things in control.

United church school news
Something new has been
added to Lucan United
Church School! An informal
discussion group for mothers
of Sunday School age
children has been formed to
discover what Mark's gospel
actually says about Jesus, to
think about how He can meet
the deep needs of people like
us today, to share your own
thoughts and questions and
to grow with others, who are
also searching.
It will be held while your
children are in Sunday
School, 10 a.m. beginning
September 28, in the Church
office for the present, and
the leader will be Jean
Brown. Come as you are!
Did you know that this is
the 200th Anniversary year
of the Sunday School as
such? A committee has been
formed in the Lucan Church
to see how best this great
event can be celebrated by
our particular Sunday
School, with a birthday party
on Sunday, November 2.

welcomed members of the
Sushine and Busy Buddies'
seniors groups to their
meeting Thursday af-

Canadian Legion Branch 540,
to help them celebrate
"Legion Week" by attending
a card party in the hall this
afternoon, Wednesday, at 2
p.m. with refreshments at
the close of the party.
Most of those present
indicated their intention to
attend, particularly after the
Bowling Club members
stated they would start
bowling at 12:30 rather than
1:30, in order to go.
Ethel Crouch reported on
prices for paper products an
Elsie Gibson reported for the
lunch committee, both for
the Montrose Group dinner.
After a rather lengthy
discussion it was agreed to
hold the dinner in the lower
hall at the Arena because of
easy access, large
cloakroom and large
washrooms. A definite menu
was deferred for one week.
