called moral values educa-
tion (MVE). She used the ar-
ticle written by Dr, Kathleen
Gaw excerpts from "Yes
Virginia There Is Right &
Wrong".
Our children and youth
need more than ever to learn
how to analyze moral issues
and to arrive at moral
judgements. Institutions and
families appeared to have
stopped discussing relevant
questions and have forfeited
their influence.
One example of MVE is an
exercise called Life Raft.
Another exercise based on
the value of human life,
These exercises of thought
being led by the teacher and
each child participates lest
no final moral issue is given
by the teacher, leaving our
youth to make their own
moral judgement.
