will be nice to have everyone

Her initial appointment to
Ailsa Craig (by the
Presbytery) is for two years.
"I am very much looking

Seniors at
Playhouse
By JOY SCHEIFELE
Many of the Craigwiel
Gardens seniors were able to
enjoy live theatre this
summer as they took in
performances of "The Life
That Jack Built" at Blyth,
and "Annie Get Your Gun"
at the Huron Country
Playhouse.
Shopping needs were met
with an expedition to both
London and Strathroy. Other
outings included taking in
the Zurich Bean Festival, a
visit to Jim Mitchell's bird
sanctuary in St. Marys and
Murray Mitchell's private
zoo in the country.
Nor did all the enjoyment
of the summer take place
away from home. Many
made good use of the shuf-
fleboard court and a lot of
fun games took place.

On May 20 she was for-
mally ordained into the
ministry at the Eastmount
Presbyterian Church in
Hamilton and t became the
current youngest ordained
Minister within the
Presbyterian Church.
However, in many ways
the ministry is far from new
to Maureen. Shortly after
her birth her father also
graduated from Knox
College and for the past 17
years has been minister at
the Eastmount Church in
Hamilton.
Her mother is also actively
involved in her own right
presently serving as
Presbytery Deaconess in
Hamilton as a hospital
visitor. As such she is
responsible for visiting in
five hospitals in Hamilton. In
addition, Maureen has one
brother "who is perfectly
normal", she quips. A

"The decision to accept the
offer of position as Assistant
