Personals Several of the Crediton population enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells of the Lucan fair this weekend. Miss Arlene Cottel and Master Allan Cottel have returned home from a week of holidays with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Caldwell and family of Blyth. SUMMERS GRANTQN At St. Thomas Anglican Church the Rev, Will Vollick of London conducted the Service on Sunday and was the Celebrant of Holy Communion assisted by Miss Marion Herbert who read the Epistle of the Day. Taking his sermon from Hebrews W8 Rev. Vollick spoke on. the Faith of Abraham when God appeared to him and told him to leave his home and take his family, and journey to a new country. When Jesus said "I go to prepare a place for you" said Rev. Vollick, this does not only apply to the end of life, but also the beginning. God is ready to reveal, when we are ready to receive.
