No humans were involved
in a recent rabid skunk in-
cident at Huron Park.
On August 4, a skunk
became involved in a fight
with dogs owned by Mina
Harris and Elaine Broom,
both residents of Huron
Park.
The federal health of
animals branch at Seaforth
determined that the skunk
was rabid.
The Harris dog has been
destroyed and the Broom
animal is under surveillance
according to information
from the Huron County
