The bike-a-then to raise funds for the Vacation Bible School was heldWednesday. Six boys and two girls biked five miles and raised $138.00. Refreshments were served at the halfway point by Mrs. Allan Finkbeiner, Super- visors were Mrs, Linda Finkbeiner and Mrs. Bar- bara Ratz. Teachers and helpers are still needed for the Vacation Bible School, August 18 to 22. If interested please contact Linda or Thelma Finkbeiner. A congregational meeting will be held at Zion United ChurchWednesday evening August 13 at 8 p.m, in the Sunday School auditorium to finalize tenders for the repair of the tower and eavestroughing. A passing motorist noticed the fire and wakened the family. They were able to get all the cat- tle out but a large quantity of feed was lost. Cause is un- known.
