Sharon Lynne Mardlin, daughter of Lloyd and Isabel. Mardlin
of St. Marys and. Lieut. Bernard Edward Boland of the Cana-
dian. Armed Forces, son of John and Margaret Boland of RR
3, Lucan, were married in Granton United. Church June 14.
Sue MacGregor and Father Joseph Finn officiated, The maid
of honour was Ruth Mardlin of London. Bridesmaids were
Gayle Elston, Ferne Mardlin and Brenda Boland. The best
man was Steve O'Brien of Lucan. Ushers were Randy Bestard,
Allan Mardlin and Fred Boland. Accompanying Lieut. Boland
as an honour guard were graduating classmates from the
Royal Military College in Kingston. Lieut. Kevin Horton, Lieut.
Dave Singleton, Lieut, Tom Keough and Lieut. Guy Townend
formed an arch with their swords at the church entrance for
the wedding couple to pass under after the service. The couple
are spending the next six months travelling through Canada
as the groom completes his training as an aeronautical
engineer. The bride plans to continue her career as a
registered nurse. They anticipate residing in the west, with a
chance of going to Germany depending on the groom's
posting.

MR. AND MRS. W. GORDON SMYTH
Jo-Anne Reta Collins and William Gordon Smyth were
married at Dungannon United Church on July 12. The bride is
the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Foster of RR 3, Clinton and the
late Stanley E. Collins. The groom is the son of Mr. Gordon
Smyth of RR 2 Auburn and Mrs. Hazel Smyth of Goderich.
Maid of honour was Karen Stephenson, Niagara Falls.
Bridesmaids were Hazel Collins, Hamilton and carol Ann
Smyth, Dungannon. Kimberley Edward, Benmiller was junior
bridesmaid. Paul Curran Lucknow was best man. Guests were
ushered by Ron Brindley, Dungannon and George Collins,
Clinton. Ring bearer was Timothy Aidrie, Londesboro. Rev.
Stanley C. McDonald officiated with Louise Wilson providing
organ music. Soloist was Marsha Alton. After a wedding trip
to Niagara Falls, the couple have taken over the family farm

Nancy Lenore Kemp and James-Morley Robinson were united
in marriage July 26 at the Ailsa Craig United Church by Rev.
Edwin Hancock. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs,
Gordon Kemp, R.R. 2 Lucan and Mr. and Mrs, Kelly Robinson,
R.R. 3 Ailsa Craig are parents of the groom. Christine Hogan
was matron of honour and the bridesmaids were Judy Robin-
son and. Marilyn Morley. The best man was. Karl Robinson and
guests were ushered by Wes Lockhart and Larry Kemp. After a

Sacred Heart Church,Parkhill was the setting for the June 28
wedding of Bea Masschelein and Gerald Van Osch. The bride
is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emile Masschelein of Parkhill
and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Van Osch of
Crediton. Father R. Charrette officiated at the ceremony.
Maid. of honour was Theresa Masschelein of London.
Bridesmaids were Barb Ratz of Toronto, Liz Sullivan of London
and Jackie Callen and Sheri Richmond, both of Salt Lake City,
Utah. Best man was John Muller of Grand Bend, Jim Sullivan
of London, John Gielen and Fred Van Osch of Crediton, and
John Masschelein of Parkhill ushered the guests. Emeline La-
mond of Calgary was flower girl. After a wedding trip to the
New England States and Myrtle Beach the couple are residing
at RR 3, Ailsa Craig.
