Boland as an honour guard were graduating classmates from the Royal Military College in Kingston. Lieut. Kevin Horton, Lieut. Dave Singleton, Lieut, Tom Keough and Lieut. Guy Townend formed an arch with their swords at the church entrance for the wedding couple to pass under after the service. The couple are spending the next six months travelling through Canada as the groom completes his training as an aeronautical engineer. The bride plans to continue her career as a registered nurse.
