Of Lucan called Mr. Currie in
desperation asking him to
help therfficatch and take out
of their large swimming pool
a very big snapping turtle
which kept them from using
the pool.
Having the owner use a
long pole to stir up the turtle,
Mr. Currie watched until it
came to the top of the water,
when he scooped the turtle
up and out of the pool with a
dip net,
Mr. Currie then tied the
dip net securely so as to
transport it to a steam where
he released it. The turtle
wasted notime hikingoff into
the creek.

Sunday morning Rev. Ray
Brewster conducted the
service. Larry McGill ac-
companied Jennifer Toews
and Elizabeth Ingham as
they sang "Come to the
water" Judy Henry led the
children's church singing "0
let us Worship". Using a red
umbrella, Judy told about
Jesus' blood protecting us.
Rev. Brewster, speaking
from Eph 2:10, and Isaiah
61:1-3 showed how we are
God's workmanship. God is
helping us to grow spiritually
through experiences, other
people, and His word. This
builds character in our' lives.

holiday to the Maritimes and
Newfoundland.

Maritimes, the Curries met
with several of the owners at
a dog show in Chesley, N.S.
.where they saw many of
the Keeshonden and the ones
they shipped to N.S.
While in N.S. they stayed
with Rev. and Mrs. Evert
Gagnon who were pastors in
Lucan years ago. Their trip
around the Cabot Trail in
Cape Breton was very
beautiful and interesting,
especially to find patches of
snow in woods on one of the
hills.
After a night long ferry
ride, before docking in Nfld,
again they saw snow in the
hills. There was snow on
many of the low mountains
of west Nfld. There is quite a

In St, John's the Currie's
