Saveway played in Nairn last night (Tuesday) while Thursday they, travel to Parkhill and on Sunday they travel' to Lucan. The Dashwood Tigers, posted one win in three outings this week, one lass being to the Clinton Colts. It was the third time in the past three weeks they've been handcuffed by the northern crew, Clinton took a 9-2 win as they played on the Tigers' home field, Friday. The visitors scored one in the second, added three more in the fourth and then capped it off with another three-run outburst in the eighth. Cam:McDonald worked on the hill for the Colts and shut Dashwood out until the bottom of the ninth when they scored both tallies, ' Thurman led off with a double and scored on a groundout and single by Coghlan. The latter was out on, a fielder's choice by Heywood, ,who then came around to score on singles by Guenther and Wuerth, Heywood paced the Tigers at the plate with three singles. Adding safeties in addition to Thurman were. Baynham, Coghlan, Guenther and Wuerth. Heywood went the distance fOr Dashwood to take the loss as he gave up 12 hits.
