Remembrance was guest
speaker for Zion Lutheran
congregation Sunday
morning in the absence of
Pastor Mellecke.
Joy
The youth of Zion Lutheran
church met June 30 opening
with a prayer by Jonathan
Mellecke. A business session
was held following which,
with the youth of Peace
Exeter they concentrated on
doing one of the Bible studies
for the camping retreat.
Elizabeth Datars closed
with a prayer.

Webber of Hensall celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary
on Friday, June 13 at Pine Ridge Chalet with a family dinner
followed by a dance and reception. The couple were married
June 15, 1940 at the James Street Church parsonage, Exeter.
They have three daughters; Deanne McLachlan of Woodstock,
Nancy Anne Haskell of St Catharines, and Lynda Dykstra of
Cold Stream Side Road, RR 2, Ilderton. They have nine
randchildren.

Church, St. Marys, on May 10 with Father Fitzgerald of-
ficiating. Mrs. Ethel Stephen played the wedding music and
accompanied soloist Cathy Kehoe, Orillia. Matron of honor
was her sister Mrs. Judy Graham. The bridesmaids were Mrs.
Cheryl Riordan, St. Marys, and Misses Donna Moraweic and
Eduardo Sousa, Toronto. The little flower girl was the bride's
niece, Jennifer Lane of Ottawa, and ringer bearer was Master
Paul Taylor, nephew of the groom. Best man was Brian
Hibbert and ushers were Allan Wyman, Stratford, Bryan
Amos, Mount Forest and James McCauley, St. Marys. The
young couple spent their honeymoon in Lake Placid, New
York, and are now residing in Guelph.
