DashWood Senior Citizens
have been very busy lately.
Last week was Senior
Citizens week and they were
guests at Huronview for
luncheon and program.
Wednesday, was a special
one day trip when with
McNaughton Tours of
Ilderton they visited
Prudhomme's Tivoli's
Miniature world and the
RoCktort Lion Safari.
Playhouse guests
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Lovell,
Exeter, and Mr. and Mrs.
Valentine Becker were
guests of the Playhouse
executiv Thursday evening.
Hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Don
Waters, Parkhill, they had
dinner at the Village Inn and
were escorted to the Country
Playhouse in the vintage
cars where they saw the 50th
anniversary production of
Noel Coward's classic
comedy "Private Lives"
which they enjoyed very
much They also saw the
paraebute jumpers come
down beside the playhouse.
The two couples who had
celebrated their 50th wed-
ding anniversaries earlier
this year, had a delightful
evening.
Blyth play
sales are up
The Blyth Summer
Festival today announced
that advance ticket sales are
up 70 per cent from this time
last year.
Anne Mann, Box Office
Manager of the Festival,
assures patrons that "There
are stilll lots of tickets
available for all dates.
However, I would advise
patrons to make their
reservations soon to avoid
disappointment."

London, have returned home
following a trip to eastern
Canada and the New
England States. They were

Miss Marylou Tindall was
guest at the Menogue-Head
wedding at the Lucan
revival centre Saturday and
the reception which
followed,
Mrs. Heber Davis, and Mr.
and Mrs. Jim Barker and
Mrs. Lorne Barker, Lucan
were guests at the "Pinning
Ceremony" of the
graduating class June 26 at
Western University for the
Fanshawe College Diploma
Nurse Program, Victoria
Campus, when 97 graduates
received their pins.
Mrs. Jim Barker attended
an afternoon tea for the
mothers at the nurses
residence and Jean's sister,
Martha Reinheim, West
Germany.
Lorne Genttner is a patient
in University Hospital,
London.
Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Rader
were Friday evening guests
at Centralia with Mt'. and
Mrs. Jim Lynn, Chris and
Shawn, on the occasion of
Chris's second birthday,
Saturday supper guests
with Mr. and Mrs. Lorne
Becker and Wayne were Mr.
and Mrs. Henry Becker,
Aurich,7 and. Mrs. Barbara
Ten Eyck, Kitchener,
Gordon Kraft is able to be
home from Hospital.
Joan invited those who
attended the ceremony in the
evening to her home for
refreshments. They were
joined by Mr. and Mrs. Gary
Barker and twin daughters,
Marla and Jan, Lucan.
Saturday evening Mr. and
Mrs. Jim Barker held a
family dinner to honor their
daughter Jean - twenty-one
guests sat down to dinner.
Jean left Toronto airport
Sunday at ten o'clock for two
weeks in Vancouver, B.C.
The sympathy of this
community is extended to
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Carroll
in the death of Mrs. Carroll's
father; Mr. Ford Dyer in
Sarnia.
Miss Marylou Tindall

ningham, Mr. and her
parents Mar and Mrs. Bob
Tindall and Robert and Mrs.
Catherine Elston, Centralia
spent a day recently visiting
at Mar and Marylou
