munity Hospital to be held

A donation of $1,000 from
the Town of Seaforth and of
$500 from the Town of
Exeter were acknowleged
The donations are to go
toward the $285,000
renovation program at the
Vanastra Recreation centre.
Council took no action on a
request for a donation from
the Vanastra Lions club to
assistwith the prizes for the
queen contest for the
Vanastra fair to be held later
this summer. Instead council
plans to give a donation
toward the whole fair.

Sunday afternoon mem-
bers of the Exeter United
Church Choir and their
spouses had their annual
picuic,, at, home.of Mr.
Robert tarneron. A.delicious
pot luck dinner was enjoyed
by all. The evening con-
cluded with an enjoyable
gospel sing.
