Council took no action on a request for a donation from the Vanastra Lions club to assistwith the prizes for the queen contest for the Vanastra fair to be held later this summer. Mr. and Mrs. John Konyndndyk of Woodstock were dinner guests on Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Sim Roobal, Dr. Robert Mickle of Cambridge, Charles Mickle of Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. Ross MacMillan and Ann of Waterloo, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Collins also of Waterloo visited last Saturday with their mother Mrs. Laird Mickle and at- tended the Homecoming of the South Huron District High School in Exeter. Sunday afternoon mem- bers of the Exeter United Church Choir and their spouses had their annual picuic,, at, home.of Mr. Robert tarneron. A.delicious pot luck dinner was enjoyed by all.
