They all attended the funeral of Lloyd Edighoffer, Mitchell, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Rodgers, Mitchell, were Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Schatz. Miss Edna Willert, Mit- chell, was a dinner guest, Sunday, with Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rader and attended the Rader reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Poland, Campbellford, and Mrs. Ray Kretzman, Florida, were weekend visitors with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hoffman, Mrs. Elda Hep- pler; Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Tieman, Mrs. Letta Taylor, Mrs, Pearl Miller and Mrs. Ross Love were on a five day Fettes Tour trip to Penn- sylvania Gettysberg and Lancaster last week. itadeis unite The Rader reunion was held at the community park Sunday, June 8th with a good attendance. President, Bill Wagner, welcomed all and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller and girls conducted sports. The results are: 5 and under, Adam Rader; 6-10, Tracy Soldan; 11-14, Keith Rader, Ladies' walk, Mrs. Floyd Rader; men's back- ward walk, Ray Taylor; a candy scramble was held followed by several relays; kick the shoe, ladies, Karen Rader; men, Jim Rader, Several special prizes were given during the supper: marked plate, Karen Miller; youngest person, William Rader; oldest, Mrs. Rose Laub; most keys, Kenneth Witmer (35); guessing jelly beans, Julie Anne Rader; mystery box, Elmer Rader. Mrs. Dave Rader assisted by a number of ladies set out a bountiful supper. New officers for the reunion to be held the second Sunday in June 1982 are: president, Ernie Miller,; vice-president, Philip Rader; secretary, Carol Rader; treasurer, Mrs. Irvin Rader; sports committee, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Rader and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Rader; table convener, Mrs. Colin McGregor. BUSINESS GRAD — Steven Willett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Willert, Exeter graduated recently from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo with a Honours degree in Bachelor of business Administration. He has accepted a position with Gulf Canada in Toronto. The W.I. list prepared by Seaforth W.I. was read and Mrs. Weigand, •Mrs. Stuart Wolfe and Mrs. Harold Schroeder were appointed committee in charge. The W.I. will cater to the Thorndale ladies August 26. A seminar for Tweedsmuir curators will be held August 12 at the Lambton Museum. The short course will be crewel Embroidery. The convention will be held at St. Marys. . Special meeting The Youth of Zion Lutheran church held a special meeting for the confirmands at the homes of Lisa Miller and Elise Nandeworp. Elizabeth Miller opened the meeting with a prayer. Bit study' follOwed on Baptism.„‘ After supper the con- firmands were initiated into the group. Lori Anne Boogemans closed with a prayer.
