Sunday Service
Mr, Paul Schott speaking
on the subject "Rise Up, Men
and Women of God" used the
"Parable of the Yeast" as a
Biblical reference at Sun-
day's United Church serice.
Jesus compared the
Kingdom of God with yeast.
Just as the yeast can change
the character of the bread, in
the same manner, God's
presence can change the
world.
Christianity has brought
many changes to life itself.
Many people are benefited
by the religious programs on
television. Yeast is really
our faith but it must be kept
alive to be effective.
This coming Sunday the
Sunday School anniversary
will be held at 11 a.m. You
are reminded of the change
of time.
