Miss Joanne Hodgert was a guest at the Elliott-Jaques wedding at Zion United Church Saturday afternoon and the reception at Kirkton Woodham Community Centre on Saturday evening, On Friday afternoon Pastor Ross and Mrs, Hargreaves visited with Rev. Keith and Mrs. Rameshwar of Ifiekson to renew aquaintances with Mrs. Rameshwar's parents who entertained the Hargreaves when they were in Trindad. Rev. Keith Rameshwar was ordained at London Conference this year. Friday evening Pastor Ross Hargreaves took the Vesper Service at Camp Bimini when the Camp leaders and counsellors became aquainted. Pentecost Sunday The following young people joined the church by Profession of Faith: Jeff Borland, Gerald Cun- nington, Alan Hodgert, Patricia Hodgert, Scott Hodgert, Michael Stewart. Rev. Bert Daynard assisted with the communion Service. Wednesday evening there will be a piano recital of Miss Agnes Bray's pupils in the auditorium of the church. On Sunday June 1 the church service will com- mence at 11 a.m. A special musical group from Berean Bible Institute, Calgary, will perform. This group of five girls and two boys are touring Western Ontario for two weeks, The flowers in the church on Sunday were placed there by the family of the late Minnie Elford. Sympathy is extended to the family. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Jef- fery were entertained at a surprise party in honor of their 25th wedding an- niversary which was May 21.
