There was a total of 10
accidents investigated by
officers of Lucan
from May 11 to May 19. Six of
these occurred over the
holiday weekend. _
On Sunday May 11 at 12:30
p.m, a car driven by Gregory
Keyes of Thamesford
collided with a vehicle
driven by Dorothy Brady of
65 Victoria St. E., Exeter.
The accident occurred at
Elginfield and damage was
set at $1,800 by Const.
Flemming. There were no
injuries.
At 12:15 p.m. May 11 a
vehicle driven by William
White of 814 Princess Ave.,
London struck a bridge
railing on Adelaide Sideroad
south of concession 15, There
were no injuries and damage
to the car was set at $1,200 by
Constable Flemming.
At 6:30 p.m. on May 12 a
vehicle driven by Robert
McGregor, RR 2, Kippen
collided with a vehicle
driven by Randal
Shushkewich of RR 2 Ailsa
Craig at the intersection of
Hwy. 4 and the Brinsley Rd.
Shushkewich received minor
injuries and damage was set
at $600.00 by Constable
Craig.
On Friday May 16 at 12:15
p.m. a vehicle driven by
Wilfred Leitch of RR 4
Denfield struck a farm
tractor and spreader being
operated by Harvey Lou of
RR 4 Parkhill on the Den-
field Sideroad north of
concession 12. Leitch
sustained minor injuries.
Damage was set at $2,000 by
Constable Flemming,
At 10:50 p.m, on May 16 a
motorcycle driven by James
, Talbot of 383 Dieppe St.,
London left Hwy. 4 at the
Clandeboye curve. Talbot
received minor injuries and
damage to the motorcycle
was set at $300,00 by Con-
stable Craig,
On Saturday May 17 at 1:58
a.m, a vehicle driven by
Scott Dolson of Muncey drive
off the Hyde Park Rd. just
north of Hwy. 22. Both
Dolson and his passenger
received minor injuries and
damage was set at $5000,00 ,
by Constable Disher.
On May 17 at 6:45 a.m. a
'vehicle driven by James
Mills of Main St., Granton
drove off concession 14 road
in Biddulph Twp. and struck
a tree. Mills received minor
injuries and damage was set
at $3,500.00 by Constable
Chapman.
On May 18 at 1:30 a.m. a
vehicle driven by Bert
Appleman of RR, 1 Lucan
struck a parked car in front
of the Lucan arena on Main
St. Appleman sustained
minor injuries and damage
to the 2 vehicle was set at
$5,000.00 by Constable Craig.
At 2 : 15 a.m. on May 18 a
vehicle driven by Douglas
Marshall of RR 2 Ailsa Craig
collided with two vehicles at
the intersection of the
Brinsley Road and con-
cession 4 road. The drivers of
