Lynn introduced the guest speaker, Jan Hughes of London, Director of the "Teen Home for Girls." A short business meeting was held following refreshments. Mrs. Gerald Lynn, lay delegate for Clandeboye United Church is attending London Conference for three days this week at Wesley- Knox United Church. Mr. and Mrs, John Brownlee and family, Gravenhurst and Mrs. Mary Jane Carter, Vancouver, B.C. spent the latter part of the week with Mrs. Viola Carter and attended the funeral Saturday of their aunt, Mrs. H.J, Cornish, of London. Saturday evening, Mrs. Myrtle ' Brownlee, Craigholme Nursing Home, Ailsa Craig and Mr. H.J. Cornish joined them for dinner. Mary Jane Carter stayed a few days longer, to visit with her mother at Craigholme. Mr. and Mrs. Ri c k Rollings entertained at their home following the baptism of their son, Nathan Andrew, at Clandeboye United church on Sunday. Guests were Mrs. L. Mohr, Mrs, Mary Huot and Mrs. Wm. Joliffe all of Lucan, Mr. and Mrs. Chas Rollings of Centralia and Mr. and Mrs, Orville Rollings of Clandeboye. Howard Morley, Hazel Park, Michigan was a Mon- day visitor with his sister, Mrs. Art Hodgins. Clandeboye attended the regional U.C.W. supper meeting held at Lieury United Church Monday evening. The girls choir from Clandeboye which includes, Catherine, Cheryl and Bonnie Lynn, Ruth Hardy and Shannon Feke accompanied by Win- nie Robicheau entertained during the meeting. Seems the politician who buys votes with private money is dishonest, But let him buy votes with the people's own tax money and he's a great liberal.
