TEMPI,EMAN VAFFA Mrs. Larry Gardiner hosted the April meeting of the Marion Ritchie Evening Auxiliary at her home April 15, with 14 ladies present. Mrs, Gardiner presided, opening with a poem "To- night". Lisa Gardiner delighted everyone with a ,piano instrumental "Life Guard." Roll call was an- swered by reading a verse from the book of Galatians. The collection was dedicated by Mrs. Gardiner, The president, Mrs. Alec Miller presided for the business, when it was con- firmed that Mrs. Carter Kerslake would be attending the Synodical in Brantford from April 22-24. The May meeting was reviewed, this being our talent sale the home helpers will be invited to this meeting. Mrs. Gordon.Scott chose as her topic two Easter Poems "Come To The Garden" and "A Stone Is Rolled Away." The choir sang an anthem and there was organ and piano music throughout the service by Mr. Gill and Penny Smith. Two beautiful pots of mums were placed in the church by Mr. and Mrs. W. Palmer, St. Catharines, in memory of her parents and brother, the late Mr. and Mrs. George Hepburn and Jack. Personals Mrs. W. Palmer, St. Catharines was a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Powe Thursday. Mrs. Roy Vogan, Mrs. Lloyd Vogan and Shawn Taylor, Listowel, Mrs. Wayne Brown and Treyor, Monkton were visitors Tuesday with Mrs. Fred Cunnington. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cunnington and family, Thames Road, were Sunday evening visitors with Mrs. Cunnington.
