Bill Morena of Goderieh accompanied by his mother, have returned home after a week's holiday, via. Air Canada, in Port, Moody, B.C., with Bill's daughter Persephone Morenz, Side trips included a visit to Stanley Park and a visit in Vancouver with friends Miss Ann MacLaren and. Miss Jean Buchanan. The United Church Women catered to the curling banquet Saturday at the South Huron Rec Centre, Exeter. Mr. Ross Hargreaves attended a school for Theology in Toronto last week. Mrs. Hargreaves spent the week with Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Hansford, London, A meeting of the Cen- tennial Steering Committee will be held Wednesday April 23rd at 8 p.m. in the church basement. A Father and Son banquet will be held Thursday April 24 at 7 p.m. in the church basement. Rev. Robert Rumball, Toronto will be the guest speaker and Robert Heywood will entertain with music. A marriage enrichment seminar will be held at the High School in Exeter Thursday and Friday April 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. An official board meeting will be held Tuesday April 29 at 8 p,m. in Elimville United Church. There will be no Sunday School or church services Sunday April 27 at Thames Road owing to the Odd- fellows and Rebekahs church service at Elimville at 11 a.m. Daylight Saving Time. Sunday May 4 a Baptismal Service will be held. Parents are asked to contact the pastor, Mr. Ross Hargreaves right away if they would like their children baptized. At the church service on Sunday Mr. Morley Hall read the scripture lesson and rendered a solo Ship Ahoy! Mr. Bruce Lobb gave an inspiring message. By MRS.
