President Mrs, Gerald Brintnell opened the meeting with all singing "Hymn of all Nations" after which the Women's Institute Ode and the Mary Stewart Collect were repeated in unison. The roll call was answered by A Modern Problem that should be the concern of the Women's Institute. Mrs. Mervin . Shute, district director gave a report on the directors' meeting, she attended recently. Mrs. Gerald Brintnell gave a reading, "how to tell you are an Old Timer." Resolutions and curators - conveners were in charge of the program. Mrs. Audrey Bearss favoured with an accordion selection. A reading "Father on the Farm" was read by Mrs. Harold O'Brien. Mrs. John Rodd in- troduced the guest speaker Mrs. Fred Steimmetz of St. Marys. She took us on a walking tour of St. Marys through her slides all en- joyed seeing the fine old stone buildings which St. Marys is noted for. She told us there are five stone bridges in Ontario and St. Marys has two of them. She was thanked by Mrs. Doug Westman. Mr. and Mrs. Don Brine were guests at the 50th wedding anniversary celebration of their aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Pfaff of Creditors in Exeter on Friday evening.
