shot high to John Hayter's
glove side.
The Buckeyes next goal
came on the power play with
'Brian Taylor off for slashing.
Richard Schilbe picked up
the first of his three goals as
he took a pass from Graham
and slid the puck into the
lower left hand corner of the
net. ,
Hayter continued to have a
shaky game in goal for the
Mohawks as Ron Rader
scored on a 35 foot wrist shot
from just inside the blueline
with only 11 seconds left on
the clock. Glen Zirk had the
assist.
The Mohawks came out

three goals in the first four
minutes of play,
Brian Taylor scored his

slap shot from the right point
which beat Buckeye goalie
Randy Oke cleanly. Jim

Burton and Bill yanBergen,
Burton's goal resulted
from a scramble directly in
front of the Zurich net with
the Buckeyes failing on
repeated occasions to clear
the puck. Brad and Brian
Taylor had the assists.
Moments ,later, the
Mohawks almost had a goal
courtesy 'of the Buckeyes
when Kevin McKinnon in an
attempt to clear the puck,
fired a shot at his own net.
