Sunday Service
"The most important step
Gethsemane" was the lenten
meditation chosen by Mr.
Paul Schott for the service in
the United Church on Sunday
morning. At Gethsemane we
see Jesus face to face with
sorrow. He had to ask for
strength to go on and carry
His mission to its fulfillment.
The children's story was
told by Mr. Schott. The
musical numbers, an an-
them by the choir and the
number by the male quartet
were well received and
worthy of special mention.
Mrs. Doug Gill played the
piano accompaniment for
the quartet.
The Sunday evening
service was sponsored by the
Centralia-Zion Young
People. The film "I heard an
Owl Call my Name" was
shown and drew many
favourable comments.
