Marguerite McLeod ac-
companied by Mrs. Elaine
Skinner sang several solos.
Mrs. MacGregor gave a
reading on St. Patrick's
followed by flute solos by
Mrs. Sharon Kirkby and
piano selections by Mrs.
Jean Hodgert. The program
concluded with a humorous
skit by Mrs. Vera Pincombe,
Mrs. Olive Ostland, Mrs.
Alice Bowen and Mrs.
MacGregor.
The evening concluded
with delicious jello salads
and cookies.

Hensall recently with 40
clergy and 50 lay delegates
in attendance from the 45
pastoral.charges, Rev.
Maurice Francis; Chairman,
conducted the business for
the day and Rev. Robert
Scott conducted the Worship
service.
The candidates for the
ministry from this
Presbytery were announced
and welcomed—Katherine
Edighoffer of Mitchell,
Robert-Clark of Gorrie, Earl
Rayburn • of Goderich,
Robert Wittmor of Goderich.
and Peter Snell of Ailsa
CrAig, Snell, Rayburn and.
Wittmor were present and,
briefly addressed the
assembly. Wittmor will
complete his religious
training in May and was.
unanimously recommended
for ordination at London
Conference this year. He has
been in Japan and will return
there to a rural ministry
after ordination.
The reports of the various
committees and the work of
'the churches were given and
indicated a year of ac-
complishment in many

reported that on the National
level $19,048,264.14 was
contributed. He stated that
the church iS an agent
through which we give to
bring the mission and
message- of Jesus' church
where it is needed and where
we ought to be, This is
proven when we look at what
the United Church is doing
nationally.
There are 22 Homes for
Senior Citizens, seven
Hospitals, four Universities,
six Theological Colleges,
special needs for the deaf,
blind, physically han-
dicapped, and the mentally
retarded, also the church is
in partnership in other
countries giving supply
funding,and personnel where
needed.
Reports were given on the
two Camping facilities,,
Camp Menetesung at
Goderich and Camp Bimini
at Stratford. These camps
are used by Cub Packs, teens
and various other groups and
people of all- ages. The
Camps are open from May 1
to September 3 and early
registration is rec orn-
mended. Each church has
the camp forms.
There is a wealth of
resource material at the
Resource Centre situated in
Mitchell. The Prebytery
Christian Development
Committee is planning a
Resource Fair to be held on
Friday evening, April 25 and
all day Saturday, April 26 in
Wingham United Church. All
available resources for
adults, youth and Sunday
Schools will be on display
and featured in demon-
strations and workshops.
Everyone welcome.
Delegates from both the
clergy and lay people from
each charge will attend
London Conference which
will be held at Wesley Knox
United Church in London
May 13, 14 and 15. General
Council will be held in
Halifax, August 15 to 25 and
two delegates were elected

dislike it than like it. chief

bonspiel when a nice profit
was realized.. A letter from
the Subordinate Lodge was
read thanking the Rebekahs,
