Courses begin in the week of February 25th, 1980, unless otherwise indicated. 2. Fees: 20 session courses (40 hours) - $25.00 10 session courses (20 hours) - $15.00 Courses of fewer than 10 sessions - $10.00 3. Chapter 10: verses 28-29. Worship closed with prayer by Mrs. Faber, Mr. McMullen conducted the topic in the form of a Bible Study from James 1. Three study groups an- swered the questions to interpret the four Bible verses in to-days words, President Mrs. Robert Kinsman opened the business session with a Valentine poem, "Bridges,". Roll call was answered by 13 members on, "What I would like to do". Reports on visiting by Mrs. Bill Consitt, Sunshine and Roses by Mrs. David cooper, correspon- dence by Mrs. Bert Faber, Official Boa rd and Presbytery by Mr. McMullen, Reports showed the renovations on the Brucefield manse are well underway. Ladies are requested to increase their allocation and consider the "Live, Love" project, Mrs. Keith Lovell, social functions convener, gave report on catering and money raising ideas. Bake sales set for July 5 at Homestead, Hayfield. A plant auction will be held at the next meeting. Catering prices were established for 1980, The itemized proposed budget is to, be provided for the next meeting, April 8 will be entertainment night with Rev, Stan MacDonald as guest speaker. Worlds Day of Prayer will be at Brucefield March 7 at 2 p.m. A World Relief Bale will be packed, Irene Turner gave cour- tesy remarks and the hostesses Mrs. Norman Dickert and Mrs. Eddie McBride served lunch in a Valentine motif. WILLIAM ROHDE Mellis celebrated their THAMES ROAD golden wedding anniversary with a very informal open house arranged by their friends and neighbours. Visiting with them from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Dean Gibson Lucan, who Many people attended Open House at the Veal Abattoir this past week. The first prize of rib of beef was won by Dennis Rowe. Second,prize of 10 T-Bone Steaks was won by Harold Findlay of Exeter and the third prize o? Loin of Pork was won by Iver Small of Exeter. Congratulations to the winners and also to the Veal family. Fellowship Group Rev. _and Mrs. Morley Clarke, London were guest speakers at the Fellowship meeting Sunday evening. Rev. Morley Clarke opened the meeting with everyone singing accompanied by him on the guitar. Pastor Ross Hargreaves led in prayer. Mrs. Glenn Jeffery gave a few minutes talk on Security in Gods Love. Rev and Mrs. Clarke spoke on "Marriage Enrich- ment", which was very meaningful, Persona Is Miss Brenda Hodgert, London, Mrs. Mary Hodgert, Exeter, Mr. Ivan Hern, Zion, Mr. and Mrs. Reg Hodgert, Grant and Scott, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Cann and Brad, Mr. and Mrs. Rick Parker and Tim were Friday evening supper guests with Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hodgert and Alan. The occasion being Mrs. Mary Hodgerts bir- thday. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Passmore spent the week- end with Mr. and Mrs.Ken Brazier, Brantford and attended Open House on Saturday for Michelle Brazier bride-elect of this Saturday. Win meat at opening DONATION TO MUSEUM ----.Lambton Heritage Museum curator Bob Tremain received a cheque for $220 from Frank Humer and the Grand Bend Decorating Centre for new dis- plays at the museum. Tremain says the donation will be matched by a Wintorio grant.
