Huron-Bruce riding for the
February 18 federal election.
As expected, only the three
Major political parties will

was Monday and returning

Bolton said his office and
other election officials in the
riding have been answering
numerous calls from voters
regarding their status. He'
said there has been some
confusion regarding the
rules in view of the fact no
enumeration was held.
He indicated the most
frequent question was
whether voters had to take
their notice of enumeration
cards with them on voting
day. He said this was not
necessary as the cards are
not intended for iden-
tification purposes.
While voters have faced a
mammoth advertising
campaign regarding the
enumeration cards, Bolton
explained that in a rural
district, the proceedings
were less stringent than in
urban centres where voters
must be listed. In a rural
area, a voter can be vouched

However, he warned that
people who have moved from
the residence .at which they
were listed for the May 22
election should take the
necessary steps to notify
election officials to ensure
they are eligible to vote.
Bolton said he expected
there would slightly over
45,000 eligible voters in the
riding.
Voters in two area ridings
will have a choice of four
candidates when they head
to the polls. The Marxist-

candidates in both London-
