Cottager
Why not have the security of a
woodstove? Hydro failures are
inevitable during the winter. A
Lakewood Cottager is a small
stove that can keep your house
warm during those infrequent
power-outs. Cooking can be
done on the stove top, hot
meals always, — So simple,
the Lakewood Cottager, one-
half cord of wood and security.

Disco dance lessons are
being offered at the
McCurdy public school
gymnasium, running every
Tuesday evening from 7:30-
8:30 p.m. until December 4.
The lessons cost $10 for 10
weeks,
Forty-two people were out
for the first week of lessons
but there's still room for
more. All that we ask is that
everyone either wear soft-
soled (rubber) shoes or
dance in their stocking feet
to save wear and tear on the
gym floor. For information

Many Stephen township
residents have been asking
about getting a figure
skating club set up at the
Stephen arena, We are at
present looking into rental
times, instructor fees. etc.
And we are planning on
holding a public meeting in
the very near future to find if
there is sufficientinterest in
a club.
Watch this column for the
date of the meeting and in
the meantime, please spread
the word about the
possibility of a club starting.
This will aid us in getting
organized and generate
interest in the area.
Don't forget!! Public
skating is offered from 2-4
