Mr, and Mrs. Jack Borland, Jeff and Brad at- tended the Dearing-Parsons reception and dance Saturday evening at the South Huron Rec Centre. Mr, and Mrs, Barry E. Miller were guests at the Veal,-McCann wedding at Mount Carmel Church Saturday and the meal, reception and dance at the Pineridge Chalet in the evening. FRED BOWDEN CENTRA LIA Lloyd Morgan who recently underwent surgery in St. Joseph's Hospital, London, joined his wife at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson in Highgate and spent a few days before returning to their home. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson brought them home Sunday and remained overnight with them. They both have the best wishes of many friends for improved health. We are pleased to see Bernard Rimmer out around again after being hospitalized in Victoria Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. Rimmer had as their guest for a week Mrs. Rimmer's brother, Martin McIntyre, of Peace River, Alberta. Mr. and Mrs, Lawrence Hirtzel spent the week-end at Fisherman's Cove, We were sorry to read of the death of Mr. William Skelton of London: Mr. and Mrs. Skelton were former Centralia residents and sympathy is extended to Mrs. Skelton and family in their bereavement. A number from the community attended the International Plowing Match near Chatham last week. Mrs. Robert Corsaut, St. Marys spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. David Wheeler. Mr. and Mrs, Cedric Wheeler, Brownsburg, Quebec visited for a few days with Mr. and Mrs. George Wheeler and all visited with Rev. John Wheeler of Wellington Terrace, Elora.
