Eleanor and Glenn Durie, visited Tuesday in Toronto with Glenn's grandmother, London cleric visits Brinsley By GORDON MORLEY Rev. Charles Scott of London was in charge of the service Sunday in the Brinsley United Church. There will be Church next Sunday September 2 at the usual hour. Visitors recently with Miss Viola Lewis and Ruth were Mrs. Jim Scott and Jason and Mrs. Merle Lewis. Brinsley variety store is now opened seven days a week. Regular services have resumed at St. Marys church, Brinsley, each Sunday at 10:45 a.m. From mid-July to early August while Rev. John Latham was on vacation, the congregation joined with Trinity Church, Ailsa Craig under the leadership of Miss Sylvia Brightwell, theology of Huron College. Jeff Amos attended the Bill Long hockey school at the London Gardens last week. Mr. Janisse was killed in an auto accident. He is survived by his wife Kathy and two young daughters Renee and Angela. Mrs. Ferg Miller, of Timmins visited Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Miller. Mr. and Mrs, Fritz Zielman and daughter Femmy, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Westerhof, all of Dalfsen Holland, left for home last Saturday after holidaying for the month of August with their brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Annie Zielman and family. Mrs. Maria Voet of Ant- werp, Belgium left Monday for home after spending five week's holidays at her daughter's and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Coeck, and grandchildren David and Lori. Mr. and Mrs. Ferman Snyder, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Vincent, Lori, Michael and Michelle, attended sessions of the Church of God camp services held last week at Thamesford. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Sweitzer were dinner guests, Sunday at their daughter's Mr. and Mrs. Jim Campbell, Exeter when their twin Staffs 4-H visit barn By MRS. J. TEMPLEMAN Richard and Barbara Templeman hosted the Mitchell West Dairy 411 club meeting at their home, August 16. The president opened with the 4-H pledge and roll call with all mem- bers present. The members then went to the barn where Martin Vink demonstrated the proper way to clip a calf and all members practiced leading in preparation for achievement day at Mitchell Fair, After a holiday Hibbert United Church and Cromarty Presbyterian Church, have resumed services. They met jointly Sunday in Cromarty Presbyterian Church at . 10:15 A.M. and will continue for the next two Sundays. ' Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Miller visited for a few days with Mr. and Mrs, BruceBalfour and Mrs, Hazel Sadler in Sault Ste. Marie. Miss Darlene Templeman Exeter and Miss Ruth Templeman, holidayed in Ottawa and with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Greer and family, Armstown, Quebec, Mr. and Mrs, Russell Worden are holidaying in the western provinces Wanda Martyn, Russeldale is holidaying at the home of her grand- parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Templeman. Committee elected for next year are Tom Harlton and Mrs. Helen Ferguson, Mrs. Peter Wardlaw. Visitors through the week and Sunday with Hugh and Annie Morenz have been Mildred and Tom Doan, Joan DeBruyn and her daughters Wendy and Kathy all of Komoka, Loreen and Lorne Devine and their niece Lori Anne Latta and Jeanne Kading, of Grand Bend, Laura and Oscar Miller and Ed Turnbull, of Dashwood area, Carol Harrington and friend of London, Bill and Michelle Morenz of Goderich.
