IS HANDING OUT VALUABLE Clandeboye ladies attend performance of musical The Clandeboye Women's Institute sponsored a bus trip to the Huron Country Playhouse Thursday evening to see "The Sound of Music.' Enroute home they had lunch at the 3A's restaurant in Exeter. All report a most enjoyable evening's en- tertainment. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Blake accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Cunningham of Woodstock spent the week end with Cathy and John Lapadat of Burlington. Pat Hodgins was a guest Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Stokes at their trailer in the Shaky Pine KOA camp at Nairn. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Williams, Tonya and Shane of Lobo and Jeff McCombs of Enjoys trip to England By GORDON MORLEY Miss Joyce Hodgspn, London has just returned from a five week tour of England, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland and is visiting for a few days with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hodgson and Murray. Elginfield were Saturday visitors with Mr, and Mrs. Rupert Williams. The children stayed for a holiday with their grandparents. Mr, and Mrs. Gerald Lynn and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lynn and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cunningham and girls attended a Lynn family reunion on Sunday at the home of Clarise and Harry Hern of Zion, in honour of Nancy Hern who recently graduated as a Registered Nurse from Fanshawe' College, Victoria Campus. Cheryl Lynn returned home Sunday after spending a week with Debbie Hughes and family at Ipperwash. Services at Clandeboye United Church will be with- drawn next Sunday, Sep- tember 2 due to Decoration and Memorial Service at St. James Cemetery. Services will resume September 9. Mrs. Mary Jackson, Kitchener called on her long time friend, Mrs. Gail Cronyn on Saturday. During the afternoon, Leverne Revington, Lucan, Laura McLean Lobo Township, Wayne Hodgins and daughter Neila, London Township dropped in for a short visit. Larry, Linda and Leanne, Lewis were hosts on Sunday for the belated 40th wedding anniversary cf Linda 's parents, Mr, and Mrs. Eldon Young of Lucan. This oc- casion was planned for June 24 but due to Mr. Young's illness had to be postponed. During this month, an enumerator, carrying a proper identifica- tion card, will call at your residence for a few minutes to check basic information required in determining: • the allocation of education property taxes between the public and separate school systems; • the distribution of provincial grants to local governments to help reduce local tax bills; • the preparation of jurors' lists; and • population'information needed for other municipal programs. The enumerator must record such information as the name, age, property status (e.g. owner or tenant), school support and residency of all members of the household. When the enumerator visits, please check that the information on the Enumeration Notice is correct. If it is not, revise it and verify the changes. If you are not home, a Notice will be left for you, If changes are necessary, please make them and mail the Enumeration Notice, as soon as possible, in the self addressed postage prepaid envelope accompanying the Notice.
