Coreen and Jack Van Geel. 34 I would like to thank my bridesmaids, families, friends and neighbours for attending my shower held at St. Boniface School, August 15, 1979. 1 want to thank everyone for the beautiful gifts, Wendy Meidinger. 34 DEATHS — BALLANTYNE — Miss Wilma Ballantyne, of 207 S. Norah Street, died in hospital August I, 1979. Born in Paris Ontario, the daughter of the late William Ballantyne and Justina McDonald, she came to Fort William at the age of 4 years, was educated in local schools, graduated from McKellar in 1932 and retired from McKellar General Hospital in 1974 after 42 continuous service to the hospital. She had one year of general duty, was head nurse of Obstetrics from 1933 to 1942, assistant Director of Nursing Service 1942-44, and then she set up the Central Supply Service in the hospital where she supervised until she retired, She was a life member of the R.N.A.O. volunteer worker at the Cancer Clinic, member of the Historical Society, and did volunteer work at the museum. She was a life long member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, superintendent of the Cradle Roll, past member of the Board of Managers for 15 years, of which she was chairman from 1976-1977. Surviving is a niece Suzanne Mrs. M. Yatsko, Virginia Beach, Virginia, and her family. Predeceased by her parents, a sister Dorothea Mrs. J.P. Roberts, and brother-in-law John Roberts. Funeral services were held on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the Blake Funeral Chapel with Rev. A.H. Johnston 1113, of St. Andrew's Church officiating. Interment in the family plot in Mountain View Cemetery. 34c IN MEMORIAM — COLEMAN — In loving memory of my parents Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Coleman, and my sister Sadie Coleman. Mother passed away September 23, 1960, my Dad September II, 1949, and Sadie July 22, 1977.
