East Wawanosh Public School...
What is your favourite Christmas
cookie and how would you make it?
“I like gingerbread cookies. You’d
have to get the dough, the icing and
cookie cutters and sprinkles and then
cook them.
I like the ones that are shaped like
people and stars and angels and all
different colours.
It would probably take about 15
minutes.” - Sidney
“Peanut butter cookies. We just eat
them on Christmas.
I’d put chocolate chips in them. To
make them it would probably take
about 40 minutes in the oven.” - Julia
“Probably chocolate chip cookies,
even though we have them all the
time. Those are the same ones that we
leave out for Santa”
- Ethan
“I like the ones that look like Santa.
I’d want to put chocolate chips on
them.” - Prestin
“All of them.” - Brock
“I like the gingerbread ones, the
ones with the Santa pictures on them.
I don’t think I would change them,
they’re good the way they are.” -
Teegan
“I like the chocolate chip cookies,
but I eat them all the time. They taste
better at Christmas though.
Last year we put out the green ones
for Santa, the ones that you make with
the green icing and food stuff. We got
better presents because they were
good.
First you’d have to flatten them out
and put in some sprinkles and chips
and dry it up before they cook. It
should take about seven hours.” -
Paige
“I like the Santa gingerbread
cookies. I like them because they’re
sweet.
I think if I was going to put
anything else on them, I’d put gum
drops. It would probably take about
an hour to cook.” - Blake
“I like the gingerbread cookies with
Santa on it. I like to lick the icing off
them. They’d probably take six or
seven minutes to cook.” - Jazmin
“I like the Santa chocolate chip
cookies. I like them because they look
like Santa.
I think they’d take like five minutes.
I’d have to make them in the
microwave because I can’t use the
oven.” - Alicia
“I like the cookies with Santa on
them. I like Santa and the icing tastes
good.
If it was up to me, I’d put some
chocolate chips in them, and carrots
and milk.” - Melanie
“I like Oreos. Those are the same
ones I leave for Santa. I think he likesthem.” - Emily“I like oatmeal cookies, becausethey’re good. I think the raisins makethem Christmasy.” - Ryan
“Probably chocolate chip cookies,
but with lots of chocolate. Those are
the ones that we leave for Santa.
If I was going to make them, I’d put
more chocolate in them and maybe
some gummy bears and sprinkles and
potato chips.
I think they’d take about eight
hours to cook.” - Jerry
“I like the gingerbread trees. They
have more sprinkles than the other
ones.
We don’t have a cookie that we
always leave for Santa, we leave him
something different every year. But I
think when we leave him better
cookies, we get better presents.” -
Rylan
“I like chocolate chip, maybe with
some sprinkles and gummy bears
though.” - Tia
“I like the Santa Claus cookies
because they taste good. I think
maybe I’d put some Smarties in them
and some chocolate chips.”
- Chris
