On November 5, 2007, Calleigh Gerry- Ann was welcomed into this world by her big sister, Aleigha, her big sister and guardian angel, Ainsleigh and her parents, Gerry and Heidi. Also excited with Calleigh’s arrival were grandparents Don and Lenore Scrimgeour and Jack and Carol Bontaine. Calleigh was born at Stratford General Hospital and weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. Special thanks to Gerry and Mom for being there for the delivery and to everyone who babysat Aleigha. Thank you to Dr. Shepherd, Dr. Hancock, Dr. Bloch, Dr. Squires and all the maternity staff at SGH for your excellent care. 48-1 -------------------------------------------- McNICHOL. Brian and Kara are excited to announce the birth of their son, Louis Raymond. He was born on Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at 4:17 p.m. at the Clinton Hospital. Louis weighed 9 lbs. 1 oz. and was 21 inches in length. Louis would like to thank his big brothers Ty and Kal for welcoming him home; they have been a great big help. Thank you to Dr. Salsbury and the nurses, and to Dr. B. Marshall for all her prenatal care. Thank you to Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, Papa, Aunt Les, Kandice, and Krista for helping out with the boys. Thank you to Brian for being there for the boys during our stay in the hospital. Louis is another great-grandson for Grace McNichol of Blyth. Watching from heaven is Aunt Sarah, great- grandparents Les Pepper, Al and Pat Dunbar, Aubrey McNichol, Ruth and Keith Thorburn and Frances and Edythe Coleman. 48-1 THE BRUSSELS LIONS CLUB collected 98 pairs of used eyeglasses during the Santa Claus parade on Saturday. Close to 100 people will be given the “Gift of Sight” as a result of your generosity. On their behalf, we sincerely thank you. This care began on August 10 and continued until November 29. The nurses involved were Karen Blackwell, Karen Burke, Tammy Connolly and Kim McArter. They were available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays by a toll-free pager number and also a medical emergency number 911.
