HAKKERS. The family of the late
John Hakkers would like to thank
everyone for their kindness during
the recent loss of our dear husband,
father, and Opa. We appreciate our
friends who sent flowers, memorial
donations, cards, and food. Special
thanks to Dr. Hay and all the nurses
at the Clinton Public Hospital. Dad’s
final days were spent in wonderful
care. Thanks also to CCAC and St.
Elizabeth Health Care for their
support of Dad over the past few
years. He received superb care from
your staff. Thank you to Michael
Falconer and the staff at the
Bluewater Chapel for their guidance
and care. Our sincere appreciation to
Rev. Stephen Tamming for his
support. We are also most grateful to
the Trinity Reformed Church for the
lovely lunch following the funeral.
To so many others who gave us their
sympathy and support, your
kindness was sincerely appreciated
and will never be forgotten. We
would also like to thank those who
took time out of their busy schedules
to pause for the funeral procession.

SPEIRAN. We would like to thank
everyone who assisted us the night
of our barn fire. We could not have
gotten through it without our family,
neighbours and friends. Thank you
to the Grey Township Fire
Department for their quick action,
and also the Atwood and Brussels
Fire Departments who assisted them.
Thank you to everyone who brought
food and drinks to keep everyone
nourished. A special thank you to
Russell and Bonna May for opening
up their barn for the dairy cows and
all the trailers that came to get them
moved so quickly. The telephone
calls have been overwhelming, we
certainly live in a great community.
