Blyth Corner Café is in its infancy
in the building Bell’s Pizza used to
occupy, but owner Tracy Cook
says she’s hoping to keep things
simple.
Cook and her longtime-friend and
business partner Linda Pease
decided to go into the venture
together simply because the
opportunity came up.
Cook is no stranger to the
restaurant business, after spending
11 years working at Blyth’s Grand
View Restaurant. She just thought it
was time to try and do her own
thing.
After starting out serving just ice
cream, the Café has expanded to a
full menu.
Cook says the hours at the Café
should stay open from 7 a.m. to 9
p.m., Monday to Saturday.
The menu features a full breakfastmenu, sandwiches for lunch and
then simple burger and fries for
dinner.
Cook says that last week was a
trial week, where she ironed out a
few of the wrinkles of starting a new
business, but that everything should
be more or less set in stone soon
enough.
She hopes to keep it simple, but
down the road, she says she hopes to
keep everyone happy and coming
back.
