2007.
She was in her 93rd year.
She was the beloved wife and best
friend of John (Jack) Bowes.
Blanche was born in Seaforth,
Ontario in 1915, the youngest
daughter of Frank Wiltse and Mary
Jane Fraser. Blanche married her
husband John Bowes on Aug. 12,
1944, then they moved to Ingersoll,
Ontario where they resided for 52
years.
In 1993 they moved to Heartland
Apartments, Huronview in
Clinton.
Blanche was a member of the
Salvation Army.
Besides her husband John,
Blanche is survived by three nieces
Barbara and Bill Johnson and
Bonnie and Bill Hlusick, both of
Stratford and Diane Radford and
Doug Scrimgeour of Blyth.
She was predeceased by three
sisters Ione Welch, Dorothy
Douglas and Lila Radford and by
one niece Brenda Gimber.
At Blanche’s request there will be
no funeral home visitation or funeral
service. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside servicewas held at the Blyth Union
Cemetery on Friday, July 20 at 11
a.m. with Captain Edna Rowe of the
Salvation Army, Wingham,
officiating.
Donations to the Residents
Council of Huronview would be
appreciated as expressions of
sympathy.
Funeral arrangements were
entrusted to the Falconer Funeral
Homes Ltd., Clinton Chapel.
Water fun
Jenna McDonald was part of a
team bringing a sponge from
one bucket (full) to another
(empty) to see which one could
fill their bucket up first.
McDonald was speedy and
helped her team along at Blyth
Christian Reformed Church’s
Vacation Bible School last

A crafty retreat
Jason Wilts was one of the many children who spent time
at the Blyth Christian Reformed Church’s Vacation Bible
School. He is pictured at the craft table, preparing a
