Society canvass in Belgrave and the
surrounding area the sum of
$4,082.25 was collected.
The efforts of the 17 canvassers
and the support of those who
donated made this amount possible.Team Convenor was BarbaraAnderson.May 27 was the 10th annualCanadian National Institute for theBlind Walk Towards Independenceat Goderich. Because of rainy weatherconditions, the walk was held inside
at the Maitland Recreation Centre,
YMCA.
Bob, Ruth, Margie, Robbie,
Jefferson and Clarissa Gordon each
walked four miles.
In total the walkers raised nearly
$14,000 to assist the visually
impaired in this area.

Knox United Church on Sunday,

After church all were guests for
dinner at the home of Mike and
Donelda Cottrill.
The general meeting of the United
Church Women will be held in the
church basement on Thursday, May
31 at 7:30 p.m. The guest speaker
will be Jody Benninger who will tell
of her work in Africa.
On Sunday, June 3 the guest
speaker at Knox United Church will
be Tom Dunbar and on Sunday, June
10 Rev. John Roberts will be the
guest speaker.

it, and last week, East Wawanosh students got some sun
and exercise at their track and field day, earning ribbons
